Design Description

Inspired by the Southern Song Dynasty painting The Skeleton Puppeteer, this design reimagines Gothic aesthetics through traditional Chinese art.

The silver-grey brocade top is adorned with jade buttons, with hidden patterns of the skeleton puppeteer woven into the sleeves. The black overskirt is layered with sheer tulle, featuring embroidery of white butterflies dancing alongside withered bones.

Pearl chains hang like candlelight pendants, evoking the whisper of a dark night. The horse-face skirt shimmers with a cool silver sheen, with woven black-and-white orchids and gem motifs emerging from the pleats, creating a flowing light effect with every step.

This garment is a poem written for the night, where candlelight flickers and bones bloom into flowers.
