The starting point for this shoe was the jacquard fabric itself. The woven floral damask pattern runs continuously across the vamp, straps, and heel face, which means the shoe reads as a single textile object rather than a shoe with decorative elements applied to it. That continuity is what makes it feel more refined than most Sweet Lolita platform heels. The double cross-strap construction was chosen over a single strap because it creates a more structured silhouette around the ankle and instep. The gold floral ring buckles were selected to match the botanical quality of the jacquard pattern without competing with it. The detachable long-tail satin bow is the one element that can be adjusted. Worn on the shoe, it adds volume and drama. Removed, the shoe reads as quieter and more versatile. The bow was made large enough to also function as a hair accessory, which extends the coord possibilities without requiring a separate purchase.

I was initially worried it might look cheap on... but omg, it’s stunning! The overall quality is great, it feels really high-end and textured. I couldn't tie it properly by myself so my waist looks a bit thick here, so you definitely want to get someone to help you lace up the ribbons to really cinch in that waistline. I’m wearing two petticoats with it—a thin pumpkin petticoat underneath and a black fluffy petticoat on top.
