Designer's Note
Composing a fantastical melody, weaving together cuteness and grandeur, mystery and elegance.
This elegant OP silhouette features a primary color scheme of black and rosewood, with gold as a highlighting accent.
The upper body is constructed from a combination of matte thin cotton fabric and wood grain print fabric. Curved princess seams mimic the flowing structural lines of a musical instrument, with black embroidered strings decorating the center front.
The chest is crafted from delicate lace, while the jabot is made of sheer striped fabric and lace trim for added layers. Removable striped bow and musical note appliqués adorn the chest.
The bell sleeves are made of lightweight chiffon, preventing the large black area on the upper body from feeling too heavy, with ruffled cuffs that flow gracefully with movement.
The skirt features a placement print with musical notes and staffs, evoking a sense of lingering melody dotted with starlight. A black faux placket with dimensional decorative fabric is pieced on the right side of the skirt.
A large detachable bow adorns the waist, with interfacing inside the bow loops to maintain a structured, upright shape.

I was initially worried it might look cheap on... but omg, it’s stunning! The overall quality is great, it feels really high-end and textured. I couldn't tie it properly by myself so my waist looks a bit thick here, so you definitely want to get someone to help you lace up the ribbons to really cinch in that waistline. I’m wearing two petticoats with it—a thin pumpkin petticoat underneath and a black fluffy petticoat on top.
