Baburella is a study in contrasts — the drama of black velvet against the softness of dusty blue satin, played out across a multi-tier cake skirt that fans out like a stage curtain. I was initially worried it might look cheap on... but omg, it’s stunning! The overall quality is great, it feels really high-end and textured. I couldn't tie it properly by myself so my waist looks a bit thick here, so you definitely want to get someone to help you lace up the ribbons to really cinch in that waistline. I’m wearing two petticoats with it—a thin pumpkin petticoat underneath and a black fluffy petticoat on top.
