Design Notes
A butterfly caught mid-flight, rendered in moonlit purple. The boned corset top features a curved, wavy strapless neckline edged in black ruffled lace, with a placement-printed panel and butterfly embroidery centered at the front.
For the version with butterfly decorations, fully detachable wing pieces extend from the sides of the waist. Their bendable wire cores allow dimensional shaping, carrying the butterfly theme around the silhouette. Back lacing provides extra adjustment room, while a hidden zipper makes dressing easier.
The layered skirt falls into an irregular swallowtail hem, shorter at the front and longer at the back. Gradient pink-purple organza, black lace trim and wave-cut edges echo unfurling wings, while white and black tulle underneath create a flowing silhouette that flutters with each step.
