The star of this piece is the detachable collar: Worn alone, the skirt is a versatile everyday little black dress. The 6-panel cut hugs the waist perfectly for a slimming effect— the mermaid skirt style feels mature and elegant, while the mini skirt version is playful, sweet yet edgy. I was initially worried it might look cheap on... but omg, it’s stunning! The overall quality is great, it feels really high-end and textured. I couldn't tie it properly by myself so my waist looks a bit thick here, so you definitely want to get someone to help you lace up the ribbons to really cinch in that waistline. I’m wearing two petticoats with it—a thin pumpkin petticoat underneath and a black fluffy petticoat on top.
